Crucial Notice of Agreement & Release of Liability

By accessing or entering The Expiring Room ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you are at least 21 years of age and explicitly agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Platform, its developers, operators, hosting providers, and affiliates from any and all legal claims, damages, liabilities, emotional distress, or disputes resulting from your participation or exposure to user-submitted content.

1. Minimum Age & Capacity

This platform is strictly restricted to adults who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). By creating an identity or entering any room, you warrant and represent under penalty of perjury that you meet this requirement. Minors are strictly forbidden.

2. Zero Account Recovery & 30-Day Dormancy Purge

Zero-Knowledge Credentials: The Platform does not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or identity documents. Consequently, we cannot reset passwords or restore forgotten accounts under any circumstances. If you forget your password, your pseudonym identity is permanently inaccessible.

30-Day Automatic Deletion: Any account that has had zero login activity or interactions for thirty (30) consecutive days is permanently deleted from our database systems. You explicitly consent to this automated purging process.

3. User-Generated Content & Absolute Assumption of Risk

The Expiring Room functions solely as an unmoderated, real-time conduit for ephemeral human expression, confessions, desires, artistic writing, and dialogue.

The Platform does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the truthfulness, morality, or accuracy of any message, secret, or story.
You may encounter adult themes, erotic dialogue, sensitive emotional admissions, or unfiltered viewpoints. You assume total responsibility for your exposure.
You agree never to post non-consensual sexually explicit content, materials depicting minors, threats of real-world violence, illegal activities, malware, doxxing of real personal identities, or blackmail/extortion.

4. Complete Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5. Limitation of Liability & Mandatory Arbitration

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PLATFORM OPERATORS, DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SANCTUARY.

Any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of this Agreement shall be settled by binding confidential individual arbitration rather than court proceedings. Class actions are strictly waived.

6. Ephemeral Room Termination

Rooms, conversations, and ephemeral artifacts are designed to vanish at any time without prior notice upon countdown completion. The Platform reserves the right to terminate rooms, purge spam, or ban abusive socket connections at its sole discretion.
